A forest of fir tree candles is a real eye-catcher. To create one, you will need one or two different fir tree candle molds. In another blog post, we explained how to cast candles of different sizes using just a single mold.
For our fir forest, we colored the beeswax with approved candle dyes. By varying the amount of dye, you can create different shades of green, making the forest look even more natural.
To give the fir forest a snowy winter appearance, we used bleached beeswax. Simply pour the melted white beeswax over the finished candle while slowly turning it (see photo). This creates a beautiful snow-covered effect.
The next photo shows three different fir tree candles decorated with white beeswax to create a snowy effect.
As a base, we spread a layer of white beeswax to resemble snow and arranged the fir trees on top.
