Colorful roses are a real eye-catcher. In principle, every rose is unique. You will need:
- a rose candle mold
- wax
- candle dyes
- 2 containers
- a thin wooden stick
Image: Step 1) Fill the mold about one-third or one-quarter full with the lighter-colored wax.
Image: Step 2) Now slowly and carefully fill the mold with the darker-colored wax.
Image: Step 3) Carefully insert a thin stick into the cavities between the petals. Do NOT stir vigorously inside the mold. The colors should be blended slowly and carefully.
Image: Here is the result of using the stick. The layers have blended together.
Image: Without stirring, you get sharper color transitions.
You get very different results. Each one is unique because you don’t always use the same amount of wax and you don’t always work with the wooden stick in exactly the same way.
